Great Dane gives birth to 17 puppies

A four-year-old Great Dane called Hania has given birth to 17 puppies!

The litter consists of eight male and nine female puppies, all born by Caesarean section at a veterinary clinic nearby.

Hania, from Warsaw in Poland, needed a bit of help to satisfy the new-born's hunger and to ensure they didn't go hungry, her breeder, Gabriela Kubalska, lends a helping hand and has also arranged for the assistance of another female Great Dane.

The exhausted mother and her puppies have taken over the entire ground floor of their owner's house.
