A Feel Good Story from the Animal Friends office

photo 3.JPGToday has definitely been driven by the Feel Good factor, as the Animal Friends office was visited today by Molly, the black Labrador.

A few of our staff members noticed a black dog sitting by herself in a field just down the road from our office; being the pet lovers we are, concerned for the welfare of the dog, we immediately sent out Dan to go grab the poor dog and see if he could help – we worried that someone may have collapsed, or that the poor dog had been abandoned.

We were watching from the windows as he approached the dog (slightly nervous in case he got an altogether aggressive reception), but we could see there was nothing to worry about as the dog started vigorously wagging its tail once he got close enough. After some investigation, it was clear the dog was alone, so with some coaxing Dan and Chantelle brought the dog back to our offices, where it is fair to say it received a lot of attention.

We checked the collar and found that our visitor was named Molly, and was lucky enough to also have a home address and contact number on the collar as well! A quick call later and the owners were on the way to pick Molly up, but we made sure she had a nice drink and some toys to take with her.

A Feel Good end to an exciting part of the day!
