 Pet owners have been warned that they may accidentally turn their homes into a breeding ground for fleas this winter.It is a well known fact that fleas thrive in warm conditions, which means they could be attracted by central heating during the cold winter months. Therefore, people who own pets have been advised to make sure they get appropriate flea treatment from their local vet because of central heating, fleas can thrive all year round, its just the luck of the draw really. It doesn't mean that your house is dirty. Pet owners are well advised that when they are treating fleas, they should remember to take care of all surfaces, furniture and sheets.
