According to the Pet Food Manufacturers Association, around 45% of the UK populations own a pet, with an estimated 11.2 households owning around 23million pets between them. As a nation of animal lovers, it is not uncommon to see someone with more than one pet. Animal Friends Insurance understands that you may wish to insure all your animals, which is why we’ve come up with our Multi-pet discount.

Since our quote system makes it so easy to insure a single pet, why not insure a second or third at the same time? Not only is it still so easy to do, but our system will work out the discount for you automatically. We apply a 10% discount to any subsequent policy after the first, as long as the subsequent policies are prime level or higher. This means that you can have your first pet on a basic policy and the second on a prime level, and receive a 10% discount from the prime policy – however if both policies were prime or another higher level policy, both would receive the 10% discount, meaning that you would end up saving more money in the long run with higher levels of cover.
