Christie Briers-Hand donates to Dobermann Rescue
Every month at Animal Friends, an employee is chosen that has worked to high standards and performed admirably who will receive a total of £3000 to donate to a charity of their choice. This month’s award had to be split, as two employees had made outstanding efforts and could not be distinguished between. One of the employee’s to receive this award was Christie.
Christie has been proving to management that she is an exceptional employee, working that extra mile and coming in early and working late, and even putting in extra time at weekends with no expectation of reward in order to help out above and beyond the daily tasks. She has taken on missing premiums admirably and turned things around, leaving everyone with high hopes.
Christie has decided to make her donation to the Dobermann Rescue; here’s what she had to say about her chosen charity:
“I would like to donate my £1,500 EOM reward to Dobermann Rescue. I have chosen this charity because in the past year I have given a loving home to a Dobermann, Titus, and wanted to help other dobes like him and hope they too can also find a happy home. I see that Dobermann Rescue has so far found homes for over 13,000 Doberman’s; I had to stop looking at them on the website as I would re-home all of them if i could! They are all adorable.”
The Dobermann Rescue is dedicated to informing the public about the responsibility and effort required to care for the Dobermann breed, whilst providing loving homes for the dogs between being rescued and being rehomed. They are a wonderful charity doing fantastic things for the breed, and Animal Friends is proud to be able to support them.
