Chantelle Crowley donates to Animal Samaritans
Here at Animal Friends we employ a system whereby the managers from our range of departments come together to decide who has been employee of the month. That person then gets £3,000 to donate to an animal welfare charity of their choosing.
There is normally only one person who receives this accolade but during the month of August there were two employees who surpassed themselves and went above and beyond their role. As a result, each employee will receive £1,500 to donate to a charity of their choice. Chantelle Crowley, our sales team manager is one of those employees.

We don’t normally give this award to mangers but the level of commitment and dedication that Chantelle has displayed in her role as sales manager has forced our hand. Throughout the month of August the sales team smashed the record for number of policies sold in a month with 10,792. Whilst this was very much a team effort, Chantelle was the guiding light that steered the team towards this fantastic feat, coming in early and leaving late to ensure that every application for a policy was processed; making August a fantastic month.
Chantelle has decided to donate her £1,500 to Animal Samaritans, a non-profit making charity that specialises in the re-homing of unwanted and ill-treated animals. The charity operates in south-east London and north-west Kent and is run by volunteers who work for no pay. Established in 1985, Animal Samaritans also offer a pet bereavement advice line, spay and neuter their animals to help with the over-population crisis and have a number of skilled foster carers who help to socialise and provide a stable environment for these poor animals.

Chantelle made this statement on why she chose to donate to Animal Samaritans:
“I have chosen this charity as my dog Daisy, who has now sadly passed away, was neglected when she was a puppy. Luckily for her I found her and we shared a happy 9 years together, if only these dogs could be so lucky.”
Chris Bishop, the chairman of Animal Samaritans, had this message of thanks:
“We are so grateful to you as we spend an awful lot of money on our animals and it is so nice to hear that someone is showing an interest in us. Thank you once again for your kindness. I am sure our animals would thank you if they could speak. Kindest regards.”
We here at Animal Friends are extremely pleased that Chantelle has decided to donate to such a worthwhile and admirable charity, and hope that the donation will aid them in their efforts to maintain their excellent work.
