Employee of the month
Here at Animal Friends Insurance we’re always looking for new ways to help out animal welfare charities all over the world. To this end we introduced an Employee of the Month scheme last year to enable our staff to have a greater part in our donation and welfare approach.
What began as a small idea grew into something fantastic that has driven staff to perform consistently and achieve recognition for their efforts, however the best part of this is that these efforts are not for themselves but instead for animal welfare charities; employees of the month are given £3000 to donate to a charity of their choice, meaning that we are not only granting large sums to the charities that have performed admirably or require the most help, but we give smaller amounts to charities who may not be as well-known and have a place in the hearts of our employees, or to charities which even a small amount can mean such a big improvement.
This page will be dedicated to updating you on the charities our employees have chosen, as well as providing you with short snippets on what the charities do, who they are and why the employee picked them, so you can understand exactly why they were chosen and how the individual charities are special to the employee who picked them.

Every month at Animal Friends, an employee is chosen that has worked to high standards and performed admirably who will receive a total of £3000 to donate to a charity of their choice. This month’s award had to be split, as two employees had made outstanding efforts and could not be distinguished between. One of the employee’s to receive this award was Christie.
