gwen-bailey.gif Animal Friends Pet Insurance is delighted to be associated with one of the UK’s leading Pet Behaviour experts, Gwen Bailey.

Not only is Gwen expert on her field but, in line with Animal Friends’ ethic, she is a long time supporter of animal welfare charities. In fact Gwen worked for a leading UK national animal welfare charity from 1988-2002 and pioneered the use of dog behaviour knowledge in the rehoming of unwanted animals. She was also the first person to be appointed by a national animal welfare charity as a full time Animal Behaviourist, eventually heading a team of behaviourists.

Gwen has successfully solved behaviour problems in thousands of rehomed dogs, helping to prevent dogs with behavioural problems being passed from home to home and improving the rehoming success rate.

Gwen lectures at national and international conferences, runs training courses for staff at animal charities around the world and has written many books & education leaflets. She has also started the very successful Puppy School with the aim of preventing behaviour problems among puppies & to encourage friendly, well-behaved dogs for the future Puppy School now boasts 41 tutors around the UK. Gwen is also a Trustee for Battersea Cats and Dog Home

From her extensive experiences Gwen has prepared a number of helpful articles covering some of the most common behaviour problems pet owners may meet in their dog and cat companions. Please follow the links below to read these articles, we hope you will find them interesting.

Please do visit Gwen's website to see what she can offer and how her Puppy School could help your little tinker!
