Located near the St Annes area of Lancashire, Easterleigh Animal Sanctuary (EAS) rescues and rehomes unwanted, neglected and stray animals, and will take in any kind of animal that is in need. Conscious of the overpopulation crisis of cats and dogs in the UK, EAS makes sure that the cats and dogs in their care are neutered or spayed before they are rehomed. The charity has a strict rehoming policy and always follows-up with each of the animals that have joined a new family.
EAS is open to the public seven days a week and receives over 300 visitors a month, this open-door policy is vital as donations from visitors and local supporters are the charity’s only from of income, something that is essential in allowing EAS to contribute to its community by helping the local animals in need.
We recognised the vital work that EAS carry out on a daily basis by donating £1,000 in the hope that it would help as much as possible.
