Animal Friends Insurance Charity Donations
Animal Friends isn’t just about fantastic pet insurance; we also donate a large amount of our profits to registered charities all over the world. You see, we’re not just offering brilliant cover for your pets; we’re also dedicated to helping out worthy animal welfare charities around the world.
To promote our love of animal welfare, we’ve set ourselves a challenge; to donate £1 million to charity by the end of 2012. To help us reach this goal, we have a number of different ways to help charities that require our donations.
Employee of the Month
Our Employee of the Month scheme allows us to highlight a particular employee that managers feel have made a considerable contribution towards the company for the month; those employees that are awarded this honour are given a £3000 donation to grant to a charity of their own choice, allowing them to help out a charity close to their heart. This is a great amount to donate to any charity, and it also allows us to donate to a greater range of charities in the long run.

Social
You can help make a difference by visiting our social network sites; for each ‘Like’ on Facebook and each ‘Follow’ on Twitter we will donate £1 to animal welfare organisations around the world, meaning that you can help charities around the world without much more than a mouse click!
We’ve also got our Charity of the Month application featured on Facebook, where we feature a set of four charities every month that you can choose to vote for; you get one vote per month, and the charities are all in the running for a top prize of £5000 in donation! Don’t worry though, as every charity that takes part will receive a donation; second place receives £2,000, whilst 3rd and 4th receive £1,500 each, making all of the charities winners in our eyes!

Grant Applications
Animal Friends also accepts grant applications from charities as a means of helping those charities that have large projects that require extra funding that the usual volunteering or donations does not cover. Unfortunately we can only respond to a limited number of these, but all are considered and we will try to choose those charities that really require our help. Through this scheme we’ve helped many charities in need of some emergency funding; if you are the proprietor of a charity in need, you can get in touch with us for a grant application form by emailing us at marketing@animalfriends.co.uk.
Affiliate Program
We also run an affiliate program for those organisations that wish to earn money from us by linking their website to Animal Friends Pet Insurance using one of our readymade banners, they will earn commission whenever their users buy a policy from us via one of our banners on the website. We track all transactions generated from the site, and will pay £15 for every successful sale generated.
