Gables Farm is a well established cat and dog rescue centre based in Plymouth. Having to cope with the ever increasing amount of unwanted cat and dogs, Gables Farm contacted us in the hope that we could financially assist them with a new large dog block that they are hoping to build. Elaine Fairfax, Founder of Animal Friends explains:-

“As Plymouth is only 2 hours from us I decided to jump in the car and pay them a visit. I am always apprehensive about visiting rescue centres as I sometime feel I want to take all the animals home with me! I was very happy to see the animals and how well they are looked after. The cats all have lovely warm heated beds and also outside areas for them to sit and watch the world go by. There were plenty of dogs being walked and lovely exercise areas for them to play in. I had no problem driving home and leaving there. My 6 cats were quite pleased that Mummy didn’t arrive home with a car full of dogs too!

Animal Friends will be pleased to support Gables Farm with their new dog block.
