Friendicoes is an animal welfare group based in India that needed our help in funding a full time vet for them each month. We were delighted to help them. Here is an email I received from them when we gave them the good news! Friendicoes is extremely grateful to you for your generous and most welcome donation of 300 pounds each month. It is indeed a wonderful boom for an organization like ours that struggles to make two ends meet. It is indeed an excellent way of increasing our professional capacity and allows us to go ahead and do our jobs all that better with at least one less financial worry. We promise to continue doing all we can to help the animals: both through our mobile clinic for working donkeys, horses and mules at brick kilns and tonga stands; and through our Spay / Neuter project in the villages around our animal sanctuary.
