Sometimes, you meet someone that really makes a difference to your life. Trudie James really impressed Elaine when she met with her.

Trudie and her team spend all of their time trying to save dogs being destroyed in dog pounds. Did you know that dogs only spend a few days in the pounds. If they are not rescued, then are put to sleep. Trudie and her team drive all over the country rescuing as many of them as they can from the pounds. Some they can transfer directly to rescue centres. Some dogs are put in “temporary kennels” until a space can be found for them. Animal Friends were delighted to be able to fund the “temporary kennels”. I am sure, with the help of Trudie and her team, Animal Friends save many lives every day. It really is a pleasure to be working alongside Trudie and supporting her work.
