Ooh, I just love Easter, don’t you? Girlie and I had a great time; we got out and about around the country to see all our animal welfare friends! We’re the Animal Friends mascots, so we’ve got the most important job of all – we make sure that charities are receiving their donations and that we’re spreading the feel good factor!
Our Easter game has been managing to do that all by itself though, as it has been played loads and loads. Everyone loves it, of course, because it’s so much fun – watching Girlie run about, panicking whilst trying to catch those eggs; it’s not often you get to see her rush, so it’s always fun for me to watch her get frustrated! In fact, it’s been played and shared so much that we were able to take a little break over the weekend.

WOOF WOOF! I’m Cracker and this is my new blog! Girlie and I are the mascots of Animal Friends and we’re the bestest friends ever, and we’re going to blog for you about all the things we get up to when we’re helping animal welfare around the world!
We like to travel a lot, because a lot of the animals that need our help are abroad! I like to see the elephants and tigers and lions, and because I’m so brave I don’t ever get scared! I like to help the animals out to get healthy and save them from the poachers because I’m the brave one, Girlie only really likes the sun and thinks of it as a holiday! She sometimes helps out, but it’s mostly me doing the work because I’m super strong, WOOF!

Rudozem Street Dog Rescue UK is a fund-raising service set up to help collect donations for street dogs in Bulgaria. Bulgaria has a large problem with stray dogs left to roam and fend for themselves, and not enough is being done to solve the problem or help them. Rudozem Street Dog Rescue in Bulgaria does great work in taking care of the dogs in their care, and their UK supporters hope that by raising awareness and funding they can improve the lives of the street dogs.

Their aim at the moment is to raise sufficient funding to qualify for the Charity Commission, in order to be granted full charitable status allowing them to promote themselves to donor or grant awarding authorities. Currently their funding is used to purchase large or difficult to get hold of goods that are unlikely to be found in Bulgaria.
