This Valentine's Day the RSPCA is asking dog adoption customers to consider taking on a loving pair of pooches.According to the charity, it is currently looking after various animal duos that would suffer if separated from their loved one. For instance, Charlie and Chloe are two Jack Russell terriers who have a close bond. They play together all day and then snuggle up together at night. Since 2007 they have been living at Southridge Animal Centre, so it is hoped they will be re-homed shortly. There is also a "cat couple" living with a foster family in London at the moment. Rumpis and Spot's previous owner moved house and was unfortunately unable to take the moggies with her. Mona Jorgensen is Southridge's deputy manager and said it is "great" when pets with traumatic pasts can find love. "These animals have formed a very close bond and we don't want to separate them or cause any more upset," she added. Dog or cat adoption can be a lovely way to add to your family, but it is important to do your research first and investigate what type of pet is likely to be most suitable for your household. Animal Friends Insurance Services are an ethical pet insurance company. We have been supporting animal welfare charities around the world since 1999 by donating all net profits to their causes.
