According to Nurse Laura Ward, many dogs are overweight. These dogs are more prone to heart problems. These problems can be treated more effectively if they are diagnosed earlier. Unfortunately most problems are detected at a later stage. 25 out of 100 dogs suffer from heart problems over the age of seven.
