bovine tb infects Veterinary nurse and her dog sparks concern that bovine tb can cause severe illness in both humans and animals

A veterinary nurse and her dog are suffering from bovine TB. It seems that they have contracted this disease recently. There is fear amongst people in the UK that the disease of bovine TB can harm more humans and pets. Pet insurance would be able to pay the veterinary treatment for her dog.

Doctors have treated a woman from Cornwall. She was suffering from respiratory infection. Her daughter has undergone tests for the same disease and has received prescription treatment. The Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) are researching how the disease of bovine TB has infected the different species. After the start of the investigation, this incident was made public.

The research is about how the disease was transmitted. Was it from the dog to nurse or vice versa? It is believed that the nurse is involved in testing bovine TB in cattle but her identity has been kept confidential.

Humans are facing a potential problem because of this disease. Roger Sainsbury, a former government veterinary officer in Cornwall, said that this disease could be transmitted through a cut. This disease can be transmitted to humans, both from cats and dogs either through cough, sneezes, abscesses or open wounds. This is a very severe problem and doctors are trying their best to overcome it through different ways.
