Dog saved by naval rescue team - A helicopter rescue team from Royal Naval Air Station, Culdrose, saved the life of a missing Collie dog called Yossy. The rescue team was on its mission to save two people from the beach. The team members were the duty crew of the 771 Naval Air Squadron, based at the Cornish Air Station in Helston. While saving the two people, one of the pilots spotted a dog.  Pilot Lt Pete McCormick along with his team was winching two people from the beach. While saving the casualties, he spotted a dog by his two doleful eyes at the rocks. Then he asked the air crewman Pretty Officer Jason Bibby to go lower to take a closer look at the rock. They finally noticed a Collie dog looking at them and asking for help. Jason tried to help the dog.   The collie dog, Yossy, was more than happy to see Jason helping him. Yossy was in pain as he growled. Jason noticed that Yossy was suffering from a broken paw.  The dog was then taken up to the helicopter and later was handed over to Coastguard team. They took Yossy to the vet for treatment.  

The owner found his missing dog. Fortunately he was a practice nurse at the vets and took the utmost care of Yossy.
