Morrisons teams up with pet health care agency

A cat and dog charity has teamed up with a major supermarket chain to launch a special month dedicated to pet health care.
The Blue Cross and Morrisons will be working together to campaign and host Pet Month in 423 of the shops across the UK.
Due to end on September 26th, the event will see the animal equipment aisles in the stores newly stocked with leaflets and handouts on how to care for creatures such as canines, felines and smaller animals like rabbits and guinea pigs.
Furthmore, the Morrisons website now boasts special galleries of different species, which web users can view to vote on which is the cutest critter in every gallery.
As of today (August 31st), the winning pets are Bernie the hamster from Bristol, Bumpy the black and white cat, hailing from Buckinghamshire and Castleford resident Alfie the black pooch.
The news comes weeks after the RSPCA announced the finalists in its Good Business awards, which include fast food chain McDonald's
