Photographer goes Gaga over pet dogs

A photographer has taken it upon himself to create some unique new art through pet dogs and the pop superstar of the moment, Lady Gaga.
Jesse Freidin, a San Francisco snapper, has always gravitated towards pooches when clicking his shutter - but his latest work is being picked up by hundreds of fans and people around the world, including celebrity blogger Perez Hilton and MTV.
The Doggie Gaga Project is "an amazing celebration of creativity, originality and fearlessness" and features various canines dressed in approximations of the singer's famously wacky costumes.
These include a Scottie-type dog named Jackson with a blonde wig - complete with curlers - perched on top of his head, while a hound called Booker sits dutifully sporting a coat made out of the severed heads of several Kermit the Frog cuddly toys.
Freidin's website offers insights into his other masterpieces, such as a recent charity photo session he did with a pooch named Lola Rose and her owner after the latter won a free session from Best Friends Animal Society.
Animal Friends Insurance, one of the largest independent pet insurers in the UK offer dog insurance, cat insurance and horse insurance to UK residents.
