Dog rescue ends in happiness for TV star

A puppy from a dog rescue centre in the US has made life even better for one TV star.

Autumn Reeser, who has appeared in shows such as Entourage and The OC, told PeoplePETS.com about how new pooch Sadie is rather athletic and brightens up her house.

"The first thing she did was run into the backyard and jump on to the picnic table ... it was hilarious ... she has such puppy energy," Reeser explained.

While the young dog did not initially bond with her owner's existing pet Gatsby, they now get along brilliantly and "cuddle", the actress added.

However, she is not ready to take on a third dog just yet - and this wise attitude is something to consider when adding a new furry friend to the family.
