Kitten survives tumble dryer trip

A kitten has used up at least one of her nine lives when she pulled off the miracle of surviving a spin in a tumble dryer, ethical insurance customers might be shocked to hear.
Tiny cat Fudge is believed to have climbed inside the domestic device at her home in Somerset - only for her unsuspecting owner Ashlea Boon to find her lifeless body after spinning a duvet cover for five minutes.
"It was really emotional and horrible and I felt that it was my fault. She looked dead," the 25-year-old, who lives with her partner Ben and their two-year-old son Jayden, said.
However, after half an hour of pet CPR by the young mother, Fudge somehow came around and was rushed to a pet health care professional, who prescribed her some medicine and eventually sent her home.
Now the kitten seems right as rain.
But owners might like to take a tip from the surprising story and learn some resuscitation techniques to use on their pets - they could ask at their local veterinary surgery or look online for a course in their area.
