Cat may lose eye after being shot

Cat insurance is often used by owners who need emergency medical treatment for a pet - and one recent incident highlights the importance of proper veterinary care.
A cat was shot in the eye and found collapsed in Llanfynydd, Flintshire.
The BBC reported that an expert confirmed the feline had been targeted at close range with a weapon most likely to be an air rifle and it is not yet known whether the animal will lose its sight.
The attack is thought to have taken place on September 2nd and Inspector Martin Best told the news provider it was a "particularly cruel and nasty" assault.
Another cat shot with an air gun is at the centre of one of the RSPCA's currently unsolved cases.
Toffee is almost a year old and was injured last month near her home in Sutton Coldfield.
She had a pellet lodged in her shoulder but vets removed it before she went home to recover.
