Pet dogs offered new natural pet healthcare product

A new product is being claimed to offer a natural pet healthcare remedy to common ailments.

Natural Defense is a dog food containing green tea, marigolds, flaxseed and chicory root - and purports to be able to give a canine increased vitality after six weeks.

The variety of vitamins and minerals allegedly target the immune system, joints, digestive tract, mouth, skin and coat health to get a pooch in top form, product development manager Sandra Hinojosa said.

"One example of improvement we saw during our initial trials were dogs that had regained their playfulness and energy levels after six weeks of daily feeding of Natural Defense Joint Health snacks," she explained.

The manager went on to assert that previously lethargic canines that had difficulty moving around demonstrated an ability to run, jump and climb stairs they did not have before.

Conventional pet food has recently come under fire from several industry bodies, who have accused a number of brands as not being as healthy as they should be.

This has led to a surge in interest in alternative feeding products.

Animal Friends Insurance, one of the largest independent pet insurers in the UK offer dog insurance, cat insurance and horse insurance to UK residents.
