New camera could be good for ethical insurance shoppers

Those dog health insurance seekers whose muses are pooches could be interested in a new camera that has arrived on the market.
Ricoh CX3 comes with a pets mode, which turns off the flash and autofocus auxiliary light so that when combined with the silence of its operations, animals will be none the wiser when they are being watched.
This could allow owners to capture the priceless moments, such as the cat staring out through the window at the rain pensively like a little person, without startling it.
It also has a high-resolution, back-illuminated ten-megapixel sensor and 720p movie-recording capability, meaning people might be able to finally see what their moggy gets up to when they are gone.
Those who do not tend to take pictures may start doing so following the advice of vet Elaine Pendlebury, who said in the Ilford Guardian that having a photo album of the good times with animals could become an invaluable gift if anything should ever happen to them.
Animal Friends Insurance, one of the largest independent pet insurers in the UK offer dog insurance, cat insurance and horse insurance to UK residents.
