Dog rescue success stories on stamps

Seven successful dog rescue stories have been captured on stamps.
The subjects of the successful pet adoptions have been snapped by photographer Steve Hoskins and printed on a new stamp collection.
The stamps, which were specially commissioned in honour of the work of Battersea Cats & Dogs Home, seek to capture the nature and character of rescue animals.
There are ten stamps in total, with three rescued cats lining up alongside the seven dogs. The stamps were made available in post offices on March 11th.
Howard Bridges, chief executive of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, said it was a huge honour for the rescue centre.
Mr Bridges said: "Everyone
is thrilled and the final images truly capture the character of the animals chosen".
Battersea Dogs & Cats Home was established in 1860 and seeks to reunite pets with their owners or give them shelter until they can be rehomed.
