Dog training 'all part of good pet health care'

Dog training is a constant learning process and one that is part and parcel of good pet health care.
This is according to professional trainer Jojo Isorena of the Better Dog Canine Behaviour Centre. She spoke to GMA News about how to improve as an animal owner and ensure your four-legged friend is as happy as possible.
Not only is dog training a good way to strengthen the owner-pet bond, but it improves communication between the two as well.
In addition, it also helps people to become better and more responsible owners, Ms Isorena said.
"It's one way for us to show these furry creatures with big hearts how much we care about them."
Dog behaviour can be a tricky issue to grasp for some people who have never looked after pets before, so asking a professional for advice is often useful.
Also discussed was the myth that canines are colourblind. Ms Isorena said they can see different hues and shades - just not as vividly as humans.
