Fame 'puts distance between SuBo and Pebbles'

Susan Boyle has only seen her pet cat Pebbles three times, since July.

The pedigree Turkish swimming cat has been living with a 76-year-old lady, Pamela Eaton-Browne, in east London, reports the Mirror.

Ms Eaton-Browne receives £4 a day to take care of the cat in an arrangement triggered when Simon Cowell asked her neighbour, an employee of SuBo's management company, if he knew anyone who would look after Pebbles.

A retired accountant, Ms Eaton-Browne admits she is surprised to still have the cat - and says that on Susan Boyle's last visit Pebbles hid under the wardrobe.

Ms Eaton-Browne said: "It was Susan, my friend and the new PA. They made such a racket, the three of them, that Pebbles shot under the wardrobe and didn't want to know."

It was previously reported that Susan Boyle rejected an offer from Sony to move to California because she didn't want to uproot Pebbles.
