Calendar Cats

Mogget’s first adventure and his new Friend, Birdie.

Mogget was a house cat – well a second floor flat cat – so his first foray outside was a great adventure for him. Bravely pushing his nose into something called The Garden, he warily slinked forth.

Soon Mogget discovered Climbing, and thank goodness too or he wouldn’t have rescued Birdie! An odd looking thing, who made strange chirping noises, and was stuck in the guttering. Mogget’s mind raced. Apparently, as an Animal Friends cat, his contributions helped rescue animals all over the world: “Well”, thought Mogget, “I’d better start here!”

Except, he didn’t know how to rescue a Birdie. So he sat guard until his owner came home and then miaowed “help” as loudly as he could. With Birdie safe, Mogget felt very proud indeed, and although he couldn’t speak Bird, he felt sure that all that chirping meant “Thankyou Mogget.”

The Day Buster Stopped To Think.

Buster knew he was the luckiest pup in the whole wide world. He had a best friend called Tail and they did everything together. Always by each other’s side. How wonderful!

So it was one day whilst Buster and Tail were playing chase, that he mused over something his owner had said. “Apparently in some countries animals are locked in cages, and their best friends chopped off!

Buster and Tail stopped to stare at each other in shocked disbelief! “But actually” Buster recalled, “because I am an Animal Friends pup, and they donate large amounts of profits to animal charities across the world, I help those poor puppies and others like them.

So that’s good then!” Feeling relieved and happy again, Buster and Tail resumed their game with renewed vigor!

How Vader the Staffy saved 12 Kittens from Drowning.

As an Animal Friends Staffy, Vader was already used to making a contribution to the welfare of animals. But, being a very lucky pup he didn’t understand its importance. Until the day he witnessed a dastardly deed: 12 innocent kittens bound in a sack and dropped into the canal! What wickedness! Without thinking Vader threw himself into the murky waters and paddled the mewling sack to the steps. His owner quickly untied the sodden bundle, and 24 terrified eyes blinked a watery ‘thankyou’.

Now Vader understood and he felt very proud indeed. Animal Friends donates large amounts from thier own profits to animal welfare projects worldwide, Animal Friends don’t just ensure his health and well being, they look after other less fortunate animals too!
