When it comes to weird and wonderful pets, some people like nothing more than owning an unconventional animal. Many people think of reptiles when it comes to unconventional pets. Snakes and lizards for example are found by many to be highly interesting pets. If these don't sound up your street and you're looking for something a bit fluffier, then a domestic ferret or skunk could be the pet for you. Simply by looking around pet shops - or preferably, in rescue shelters - for these animals, or online or in newspapers for breeders, you could find the perfect pet for you that you can love and look after. Just remember, though, that sadly not all breeders or pet suppliers employ the same morals as some of our ethical pet insurance customers may expect - choose with care and make sure that your exotic pet is coming from a trusted source.
