A pet dog's barking saved a family from fire after his behaviour alerted them to the flames.
The fire, in a Lake Worth home, is believed to have started after the family cat knocked over a burning candle, reports NBC.
The dog, Bubba, started barking when the fire began in the front portion of the home, where resident Saundra Frazer was sleeping.
Charles McCauley, who lives in the back of the home, heard the dog's barking and ran to her assistance.
Mr McCauley said: "When I walked out I smelled smoke, so I run to the other door and when I run to the other door the whole wall and her room was engulfed."
With the fire growing, McCauley got everyone out of the house safely.
Last week it was a dog who needed help as a Brooklyn firefighter performed CPR on the pet that had been pulled from a burning house.
