Chinese pet dog walks like a human

A pet dog in China is making a name for herself around the world thanks to her 'diva-like' antics, it has been reported.
Though just 12 months old, Lu Lu has learnt a range of tricks that would put an older dog to shame.
However, it is her ability to walk upright on her rear two legs that is making her something of a local celebrity in her home city of Zhumadian, Henan Province.
What's more, the miniature pinscher can often be spotted carrying her favourite handbag with her on her front paws wherever she goes.
However, though she may display diva-like tendencies, her owner, retired schoolteacher Zhou Guanshun, has said that he has no plans to trade her in for a less high-maintenance pooch.
"We loved her instantly," he said, noting that he sees her wish to walk like a human just part of her charm.
Meanwhile, the Chinese state news agency Xinhua has reported that dog training schools across the country are experiencing a major boom in demand from owners.
Animal Friends Insurance, one of the largest independent pet insurers in the UK offer dog insurance, cat insurance and horse insurance to UK residents.
