Family: Please give back our puppy

An Oxford family has spoken out about their dismay after their 13-week-old pet dog was stolen during a home robbery.

Boss, a Staffordshire terrier puppy, was snatched by the armed thieves after they forced their way into Claire Bailey's household on Sunday (March 7th).

The mum of three told the Oxford Mail that the gang of robbers threatened her family with tear gas and a knife before assaulting her eldest son Perry.

"It seemed like a lifetime but lasted just a matter of minutes," she added.

The family are now begging the robbers to return Boss, whom they had only welcomed into their home five weeks ago.

It was recently reported by the Boston Channel that the owners of Sparky the cat were reunited with their feline friend almost a year after he disappeared.

Sparky's microchip was the reason behind their emotional reunion as this was the only way he was traceable.
