Pixie Lott 'gets catty'

Pixie Lott has expressed her appreciation for feline pet health care, if her appearance in recent days in Dublin, Ireland is anything to go by.

The Mama Do singer stepped out in the capital of the Republic of Ireland clad in a perfectly normal and fashionable outfit of knee-high socks and on-trend men's-style brogue shoes.

In addition, she wore a short black dress and a grey plaid coat to keep out the western chill.

But to top off her ensemble, Lott sported a pair of black and lavender cats' ears - which may easily have been her way of showing off her support for animal welfare for the furry creatures.

If it is the case, it could be timely, after the Scottish SPCA revealed that calls out for cases of deliberate cruelty against cats have spiked in recent months, with a significant increase in 2010 call-outs as opposed to other years.
