Ethical insurance policyholders may benefit from 'listening to pet needs'

Ethical insurance holders who want to increase their knowledge of pet health care may benefit from advice given in a recent newspaper article.
Jessie Darkis, writing for the Maine Campus, suggested that observing a cat's behaviour is very important for learning more about what it needs to be happy.
For instance, one of her felines, Jake, tended to lap water up from the floor of the shower and the running tap.
Some research yielded the suggestion that some cats prefer to drink from a stream of water rather than a still bowl - so Ms Darkis installed a special tool known as a pet fountain in order to satisfy Jake.
Both of her cats ended up loving it - and it also appears to have had a positive effect on their health.
"They are urinating more frequently, which can only mean they're drinking more water," she added.
However, anyone with concerns about their pet health care duties who is unsure how to proceed should ask a professional for advice.
