RSPCA 'extremely concerned' after dog dumped

The RSPCA Queensland raised concerns for the health care of puppies after an emaciated female dog excreting milk was rescued in north Brisbane, Australia last week.
The Staffordshire-boxer cross was thrown out of an early-'80s model white Commodore, Magna or Falcon early last Thursday morning, February 25th.
The dog is extremely underweight and photos show protruding ribs and hips.
It is thought that the dog has recently had a litter and the RSPCA fears for their health too.
In a statement reported by the Courier Mail, the RSPCA Queensland said: "This is a major concern as the age of the pups is unknown and it is vital they are provided the appropriate care and treatment if they are unable to suckle from their mother."
RSPCA Queensland investigates over 12,000 complaints of animal cruelty each year and many of these complaints are about abandoned animals. In Australia, abandoning animals is a crime punishable by a fine or a year's imprisonment.
