Dog's Trust Visit

A few weeks ago we had Leslie Gold from The Salisbury Dog Trust visit Animal Friends HQ with her dog 'Laika'.

Leslie was only popping in to collect some of our newsletters for the upcoming Salisbury Dog's Trust Open Day where Animal Friends are sponsoring a Guinness World Record attempt for the World’s Largest simultaneous Dog Stay, but she ended up staying over an hour so we could make sure Laika had a chance to meet and be spoilt by all our staff. Despite many requests from everyone to keep Laika here at the office, sadly she had to leave (obviously not without a toy) but we will see her and Leslie again very soon.

We posted a mini story of Laikas’ visit on The Dogs Trusts Facebook Page, which has 212,771 page 'likes' and we received the following comment back from Leslie

"Laika loved meeting so many friendly people! Of course it helped that everyone was making a fuss of her! She'll be very excited to see you all at the Open Day on 7th August." 

Another User added:                                                                

"Bless how sweet. Oh and can I say you are the best insurance company. Well I think you are x."

For potentially that many online users to see this, along with our own, is great and can only boost our £1million Challenge and embrace the feel good factor we are sending out to the world

There is already lots of 'buzz' about the World Record Attempt in the office; the Open Day is Sunday 7th August, 45 Amesbury Road, Newton Tony and starts at 11am, entry is just £1.50 for adults, with free entry for kids and OAPs (and dogs!) a fantastic day out for all the family!
