A Real Treat for your Pampered Pooch
Here at Animal Friends Pet Insurance, we've heard about an amazing hotel for dogs in the USA. The Fetch Club is located in New York City and is designed to take care of all your doggie's needs.
Whether you own a poodle or a St Bernard, there's a hotel in New York that will make sure your dog has the best of everything. Not just a hotel, it can offer day care, spa facilities, obedience training - even a night club and cinema!
As a hotel for dogs, you can choose what type of accommodation your dog enjoys. There is a community penthouse which is great for sociable dogs and offers round-the-clock staff to see to their every need. There is also the Private Suite if your dog would prefer their own company. After dinner and a walk, the housekeeping staff provides a turn down service to ensure the room is ready for a good night's slumber.
The overnight stay will include dinner, breakfast, use of the Club's facilities and an evening walk.
If you just wanted to drop your pooch off for the day, then you could always book them in to the Spa & Salon. They could enjoy a luxurious bath, massage, aromatherapy, infrared sauna or perhaps have a fur cut and style with a canine stylist. There is also a relaxation room if your pet is dog-tired.
There is also a boutique to stock up on all those grooming essentials and the opportunity to treat yourself to a new collar or bed perhaps?
The Fitness Centre has all the latest equipment and personal canine fitness trainers to make sure your dog gets the best out of its visit. If you have any concerns about their behaviour, you could always enrol them on one of the various courses on offer.
The ultimate has to be the night club. Open from 7pm to midnight, you can relax over your dinner safe in the knowledge that your pampered pet is enjoying complimentary drinks and canapés from the staff. I wonder what music they play there - 'Who Let the Dogs Out?', the Theme from 'Scooby-Doo' perhaps?
Oh, and if you were concerned about the standard of the water on offer, don't worry, it's all purified. There's a state-of-the-art air purification system, too.
It's not April 1st quite yet, and this place really does exist. I don't know about your dog, but I think my boy actually likes sleeping on his old blanket at the foot of our bed and he's never shown any concern about the state of his collar. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen him watch a film on the TV, so perhaps he's happy as he is. I would like to think so.
